Festive theme for markets
YUNGABURRA’S iconic markets will take on a Christmas theme on Sunday, and with more than 250 stallholders showcasing their products, gift buying should be easy.
The Christmas Market is a special festive market held on the third Sunday of December (instead of the usual fourth Saturday) which will feature produce, crafts, food, and unique gifts.
Christmas decorations and festive treats will be in abundance, as well as fresh produce for the holiday season.
Stalls include fresh produce, flowers, homemade crafts, local wines, jewellery, wooden furniture, clothing and baking.
It’s prudent to take cash with you as many stallholders do not have EFTPOS facilities.
The market will run from 7.30am-12.30pm in Bruce Jones Park.
On Friday evening, the town will play host to the annual Candlelight Christmas Shopping event which will feature carol singers, prizes and activities, and festive food and drink.
The shopping event is from 4pm to 8pm.
